Geoform Origin Anthropogenic
Geoform Dredge Disturbance

Definition An area of the seafloor impacted by dredging activities. In this instance, the term is meant to apply to secondary scarring, smothering, or destruction of epibenthic and near-surface infaunal communities by dredging activity (rather than the direct removal of material by dredging which would be characterized under the Dredged Channel or other geoforms).
